Herbs for Pain Management

This introductory class explores how to use simple, accessible herbs to address common and not so common aches, muscle soreness and everyday tension. You will learn different categories of pain-relieving herbs - from soothing nervines like chamomile and lavender to anti-inflammatory agents like turmeric and ginger to stronger analgesics like California poppy and ghost pipe. We will cover how to safely prepare and use these herbs as teas, salves and compresses to support the body’s natural healing processes.
